Annie Parker of Code Club Australia is a startup ecosystem leader, she’s built 10+ accelerator programs globally and is an extremely active member of the Australian ecosystem. She’s invested in hundreds of startups through these programs and has lost count of how many entrepreneurs she’s worked with over the years. Originally Annie came to Australia to co-found muru-D – Telstra’s startup accelerator, which now has a network of programs across Australia and SEA. Annie founded and is Chair of Code Club Australia, a charity helping to teach primary school kids code through after school clubs. This network of clubs is now stands at 1800 with over 60,000 kids having been educated for free. She also Chairs the Advisory board of Mahuki, Te Papa’s Innovation hub in Wellington, NZ, helping to develop ideas into world-leading digital experiences for the cultural sector. Annie also co-founded TechFugees Australia and social movement to connect the technology and startup ecosystem to newly arrived refugees and migrants in Australia together to help solve some of the problems they face. A passionate believer in the importance of paying everything forward, Annie is a very active coach and mentor and loves helping founders achieve their full potential.
